Aloo fry is a quick and easy sabzi, that requires no preparation and can be made within a few minutes.
Serves 4
Ingredients
3 potatoes, peeled and cut into fingers
1 onion, sliced
oil, for frying
2 tsp salt
1 tsp jeera or cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder or haldi
1 tsp jeera or cumin powder
1/2 tsp amchoor or dry mango powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and fry the finger fries.
Remove excess oil from the pan and with just 1 tbsp oil in it, add cumin seeds and sliced onions.
Saute till onions turn translucent and then add all the spices.
Add the fried finger fries and sprinkle kasuri methi from top.
Your tasty aloo fry are ready!
