This Apple Granola Tart is the perfect Halloween treat that is vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free too! Make these and enjoy your guilt-free treat!
Makes 12 Tarts
Ingredients
2 cups granola
1 cup pitted dates
Pinch of salt
2 apples, sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
Preheat the oven or OTG at 180˚C for 15-20 minutes.
Coarsely grind pitted dates.
In a bowl, add granola, dates and salt and mix them to form a sticky mixture.
Grease a muffin tray or moulds.
Take 3-4 scoops of granola-dates mixture and press it gently on the walls of the muffin mould to form a tart.
Refrigerate it for 10 minutes.
In a another bowl, mix brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence.
Dip in the sliced apples and let them soak in this for 5-7 minutes.
Now place these apple slices over the granola tarts.
Bake them at 180˚C for 40-45 minutes.
