Apple Granola Tart | Vegan, Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free

This Apple Granola Tart is the perfect Halloween treat that is vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free too! Make these and enjoy your guilt-free treat!


Makes 12 Tarts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granola

  • 1 cup pitted dates

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 apples, sliced

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven or OTG at 180˚C for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Coarsely grind pitted dates.

  3. In a bowl, add granola, dates and salt and mix them to form a sticky mixture.

  4. Grease a muffin tray or moulds.

  5. Take 3-4 scoops of granola-dates mixture and press it gently on the walls of the muffin mould to form a tart.

  6. Refrigerate it for 10 minutes.

  7. In a another bowl, mix brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence.

  8. Dip in the sliced apples and let them soak in this for 5-7 minutes.

  9. Now place these apple slices over the granola tarts.

  10. Bake them at 180˚C for 40-45 minutes.

  11. Healthy & Delicious Apple Granola Tarts are ready!
