Ingredients
1 bowl plain curd or yogurt
1/2 beetroot, chopped
1 tbsp roasted peanuts
1 tbsp rock salt or kala namak
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp jeera powder or cumin powder
1 tsp brown sugar, optional
few coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Take the chopped beetroot and grind it well with roasted peanuts.
Whisk the curd well and add the beetroot peanut mix to it.
Add the salt, red chilli powder and jeera powder to it.
Add a little sugar if needed and mix well.
Top the raita with some chopped coriander leaves and serve with lunch or dinner.
