Beetroot Tortilla Wrap | Beetroot Noodles Wrap

Beetroots are considered to be one of the richest sources of iron. Including them in your meals can be a hard choice but not when you can easily blend their flavour in.


These Beetroot Tortilla Wrap, filled with noddles are so delicious to have that even your kids won't shy away from having these!

Serves 3

Ingredients

For Tortilla Wraps:

  • 1/4 cup makke ka atta or maize flour

  • 1/2 cup plain atta or whole wheat flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp oil

  • 1/2 beetroot, grinded

For Filling:

  • 1/2 cup noodles

Instructions

  1. Firstly to make the tortilla wraps, take the makke ka atta and plain atta in a bowl. Add salt, grinded or pureed beetroot, chilli flakes and using water form a stiff but soft dough.

  2. Now take small balls of the dough and roll over using some dry atta or flour.

  3. Using a fork, prick it all over and roast it on a hot tawa, slightly on both sides.

  4. Repeat the process for all tortilla sheets.

  5. These tortilla sheets can be stored for 3-4 days.

  6. When you wish to use them, heat a tawa.

  7. Roast it from both sides using 1 tsp oil.

  8. Now add the desired filling on the inside and roll the wrap.

  9. Delicious Beetroot Tortilla Wrap is ready!
