Serves 4
Ingredients
1/2 cabbage, shredded
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup peas
2 green chillies, chopped
2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp kitchen king masala
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seeds or jeera
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
few coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
In a pressure cooker, add oil and saute the cumin seeds.
When they begin to crackle, add the ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onions. Saute till the onions turn translucent.
Add the spices and salt and 1/2 cup water to it.
Finally add in the shredded cabbage and peas and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
If the water seems extra, you may cook it for 2-3 minutes more without the lid.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
