Ingredients
1/2 cabbage, shredded
1 onion, finely chopped
4 medium size potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp kitchen king masala
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp rai or black mustard seeds
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp besan or gram flour
few coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Firstly, dry roast besan in a Kadhai or pan.
In a pressure cooker, add oil and saute rai.
When they begin to crackle, add the ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onions. Saute till the onions turn translucent.
Add the spices, roasted besan, salt and 1/2 cup water to it.
Finally add in the shredded cabbage and potatoes and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
