Carrot Kebabs | Healthy Carrot Cutlets | Kids Friendly

Crispy and super healthy carrot kebabs are an easy snack option that you can make for breakfast or snacks and are loved by one and all.


Makes 10-12

Ingredients

  • 4 carrots, grated

  • 2 tbsp vanilla custard powder

  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped

  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour or maida

  • 4 boiled potatoes

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • oil, for frying

For Coating:

  • Custard Powder, 1 tbsp mixed in 1/8 cup water

  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai.

  2. In a bowl, add grated carrots, mashed potatoes, all the spices, custard powder, maida, green chillies and coriander leaves.

  3. Now mix it well to form a soft dough.

  4. Take a small portion of it and roll it with the palm of your hands to form a kebab.

  5. Dip the kebab in custard powder and water mix and then roll over the bread crumbs.

  6. Deep fry on medium flame until golden brown and then transfer to a parchment paper.

  7. Enjoy the crispy carrot kebabs with mint chutney!
