Winter is incomplete without homemade soups, so enjoy the delicious and healthy Carrot Tomato Soup.
Serves 5
Ingredients
1/2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
3-4 garlic cloves
1 cup carrots, chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup cabbage, shredded
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp sugar
3 cups water
Instructions
In a pressure cooker, add butter, garlic cloves and onions.
Saute for a minute.
Add carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, sugar and all the spices to it.
Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
After it has cooled down, churn it into a fine paste.
Sieve the soup into a pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with some fresh cream and serve hot with bread crumbs.
