Cheese & Corn Momos | Steamed Cheese Corn Momos

Cheese & Corn Momos are the cheesiest and tastiest momos! Made with fresh processed cheese and sweet corn, these are super delicious and tempting.

Makes 20-22 Momos

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour/all purpose flour

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup ice cold water, for kneading

For Filling:

  • 250 gms processed cheese, shredded

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 2 tbsp sweet corn

Instructions

  1. For the filling, take 250 gms shredded cheese in a bowl, add salt, black pepper powder and corn and mix it well.

  2. In another bowl, add flour, oil and salt.

  3. Knead it into a soft and stiff dough using ice cold water.

  4. Cover and keep aside.

  5. Now in a sauce pan or cooker, add 1 inch water and allow it to boil.

  6. Keep a stand and place a tray with holes or an idli stand.

  7. Cover it and lower the flame.

  8. Take the dough and divide it into 20 parts.

  9. Roll each part using a rolling pin into a small and thin circle.

  10. Now put 1-2 tsp filling inside each circle and pleat it to form a momo.

  11. Keep the momos inside the steamer, in the idli stand and let it steam cook for 20 minutes.

  12. After 20 minutes, remove the momos from the pan and your steamed Cheese & Corn Momos are ready!
