Cheesy Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms | Baked Mushrooms

Mushrooms are my absolute go-to snack! With a huge variety of dishes that you can try out from the versatile mushroom, here is my utmost favourite and easiest one, that requires absolutely no effort and tastes so delish!


Bake yourself the cheesiest ever mushrooms in just 20 minutes! Check out the Cheesy Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms, that are everything a mushroom lover would want!



Makes 12

Ingredients

  • 12 button mushrooms

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup processed cheese, grated

  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1/4 tsp oregano

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

  • Few coriander leaves, for garnish

  • 1 tbsp oil, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Wash and towel dry the mushrooms.

  2. Chop off the stalk part and chop it finely into a bowl.

  3. To the bowl, add chopped onion, garlic and 1 tbsp cheese.

  4. Add salt, pepper, chilli flakes and oregano. Mix the filling well.

  5. Now using a spoon, stuff the mushrooms with the filling.

  6. Grease a baking tray. Place the stuffed mushrooms on it.

  7. Top the stuffed mushrooms with some grated cheese, sprinkle some chilli flakes and coriander leaves.

  8. Preheat the oven or OTG at 200˚C for 15-20 minutes.

  9. Bake the cheesy garlic stuffed mushrooms at 180˚C for 20 minutes or till the cheese turns reddish brown.

  10. Enjoy your Cheesy Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetiser or starter or with some garlic bread.

Pro Tip

You can also make these in a pan if you don't wish to use an oven or OTG.
