An absolute new way to serve your pasta loaded with some mozzarella cheese, are these cheesy pasta sticks!
Ingredients:
3 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
2 tsp salt
6-7 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
5 tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 onion, chopped
250 grams penne pasta
4 cups water, for boiling pasta
3-4 tablespoon mozzarella cheese
5-6 jalapeños
1/2 capsicum, chopped
Method:
Add 2 teaspoon oil and saute the onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes.
Add tomatoes and add 1 teaspoon salt and cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
Now grind this in a grinded until smooth.
Add the pureed tomatoes mix.
Add red chilli powder, pepper powder, tomato sauce and cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
The pasta sauce is ready.
Boil the pasta in 4 cups water with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon oil until almost done.
Wash the boiled pasta with cold water.
Take a skewer and insert it in the penne pasta.
Now apply some pasta sauce over it on one side, chopped capsicum, jalapeños and mozzarella cheese.
Drizzle some oregano and chilli flakes and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Preheat the OTG at 200˚C for 15 minutes with both rods on.
Bake at 200˚C for 7-8 minutes or until cheese melts in the middle rack with both rods on.
Cheesy pasta sticks are now ready!
