Chilli Idli | Chinese Idli | Schezwan idli

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 10-12 idlis, cut them into cubes

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 capsicum, sliced

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp schezwan chutney

  • 1 tsp sugar, optional

  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, optional

  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a pan take oil and add onions. Saute till they turn translucent.

  2. Add capsicum and saute them well.

  3. Add all the sauces and salt. Mix it well. Add some water if needed.

  4. Now add the idli pieces and mix them well.

  5. Take out into a platter and garnish with some red chilli flakes.
