Try out the fresh marigold suji coconut rolls, filled with chocolate on the inside!
Makes 12-15 Rolls
Ingredients
1 tsp elaichi powder
1 cup semolina or suji
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup lukewarm milk
1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1-2 drops yellow food colour
Instructions
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.
Add suji or semolina and roast it well till it turns light brown and aromatic.
Once roasted, transfer it to a bowl.
Add desiccated coconut, sugar, milk and elaichi powder. Mix them well.
Divide this into half and add cocoa powder to one part and yellow colour to the other.
Take a small portion of the chocolate part, fill in some chopped pistachios and roll it with your hands to form a roll.
Take a small portion of the yellow part and flatten it on the palm of your hand.
In the center, put the chocolate roll and cover it with the yellow part from all sides.
Your Chocolate filled Suji Rolls are ready!
