Recently I gave a chocolatey twist to the regular Suji Coconut Laddoos, by adding in some cocoa powder and they turned completely divine. Make yourself delicious Chocolate Suji Coconut Laddoos.
Makes 12-15 laddoos
Ingredients
1 tsp elaichi powder
1 cup semolina or suji
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup lukewarm milk
1 tbsp cashew nuts, sliced into halves
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.
Add suji or semolina and roast it well till it turns light brown and aromatic.
Once roasted, transfer it to a bowl.
Add desiccated coconut, sugar, milk, cocoa powder and elaichi powder. Mix them well.
Take a small portion and roll it with your hands to form laddoos.
Garnish them with some sliced kaju or cashews.
Your Chocolate Suji Coconut Laddoos are ready!
