Chocolate Suji Coconut Laddoos | Indian Desserts

Recently I gave a chocolatey twist to the regular Suji Coconut Laddoos, by adding in some cocoa powder and they turned completely divine. Make yourself delicious Chocolate Suji Coconut Laddoos.

Makes 12-15 laddoos

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp elaichi powder

  • 1 cup semolina or suji

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • 1/4 cup lukewarm milk

  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts, sliced into halves

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.

  2. Add suji or semolina and roast it well till it turns light brown and aromatic.

  3. Once roasted, transfer it to a bowl.

  4. Add desiccated coconut, sugar, milk, cocoa powder and elaichi powder. Mix them well.

  5. Take a small portion and roll it with your hands to form laddoos.

  6. Garnish them with some sliced kaju or cashews.

  7. Your Chocolate Suji Coconut Laddoos are ready!
