Corn Kebab Frankie Roll | Bhutte Ke Kebab Frankie Roll

The delicious corn kebabs take a scrumptious twist with this tempting Corn Kebab Frankie Roll! It is so so YUMMY that you won't bet able to stop at just one!


Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup corn kernels, boiled

  • 3-4 potatoes, boiled and mashed

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 3-4 green chillies, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp ajjwain or carom seeds

  • 3 tbsp besan or gram flour

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp salt or to taste

  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

  • oil, for cooking

For the roll:

  • 1 cup maida or all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tbsp schezwan chutney

  • 2 tbsp mint chutney

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp chaat masala

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a grinder, coarsely grind the corn kernels.

  2. In a pan or kadhai, add butter and then add ajjwain seeds.

  3. Once they begin to crackle, add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.

  4. Then add besan and roast it for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Add the corn paste and saute till it become dry and comes together.

  6. Now add in all the spices and salt and mix well.

  7. Switch off the gas and add boiled potatoes and kasuri methi.

  8. The kebab batter is ready.

  9. Heat a non-stick pan and apply some oil to it.

  10. Make kebab rolls from the batter and insert a wooden skewer inside and cook it from all sides.

  11. In a bowl, take maida or all purpose flour, add salt to it and knead a soft dough using water.

  12. Apply some oil to the dough and cover it with a cloth nd keep aside for 30 minutes.

  13. After 30 minutes, take the dough and divide it into 4 parts.

  14. Now roll each part into a round roti or sheet.

  15. Heat a non-stick pan and cook the roti from both the sides applying some oil.

  16. Take the cooked sheets or rotis out on a plate.

  17. To one roti, apply some schezwan chutney, then add some chopped onions and put one corn seekh kebab on it.

  18. Now add some mint chutney and drizzle some chaat masala and lemon juice over it.

  19. Roll it over and seal it with an aluminium foil or butter paper.

  20. Enjoy the most scrumptious ever corn seekh kebab frankie roll!
