Crunchy Paneer Tikka Wraps | Using Bajra Flour

Yummy and healthy Paneer Tikka Wraps can be made using whole wheat flour or bajra flour. They are super delicious and crunchy!

Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 300 gms homemade paneer cubes

  • 2 onion, cut into cubes

  • 2 capsicum, cut into cubes

  • 2 tbsp besan

  • 1 cup hung curd or plain yogurt

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

  • 1/2 tsp haldi or turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp dhania or coriander powder

  • 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp amchoor or dry mango powder

  • 1 tsp jeera or cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp black salt

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp oil

For coating:

  • 2 tbsp roasted bajra flakes

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 red chilli powder

For the wrap:

  • 1 cup Bajra flour or pearl millet flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tbsp mint chutney

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp chaat masala

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add hung curd and mix in all the spices.

  2. Add paneer cubes, onion and capsicum cubes to it.

  3. Mix them well using your hands and keep it aside to marinate for 3-4 hours.

  4. In a separate plate, take some bajra flakes, add 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and mix.

  5. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa. Apply some oil on it.

  6. Now take a skewer, insert 2 paneer cubes with some onion and capsicum cubes. Roll it over the bajra flakes and place it on a non-stick tawa.

  7. Roast them well from all sides, applying little oil.

  8. Crunchy Paneer Tikkas are ready!

  9. In a bowl, take bajra flour, add salt to it and knead a soft dough using water.

  10. Apply some oil to the dough and cover it with a cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.

  11. After 30 minutes, take the dough and divide it into 4 parts.

  12. Now roll each part into a round roti or sheet.

  13. Heat a non-stick pan and cook the roti from both the sides applying some oil.

  14. Take the cooked sheets or rotis out on a plate.

  15. To one roti, put one paneer tikka stick on it.

  16. Now add some mint chutney and drizzle some chaat masala and lemon juice over it.

  17. Roll it over and seal it with an aluminium foil or butter paper.
