Serves 4
Ingredients
10-12 idlis, cut them into half
1 onion, sliced
1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp rai or mustard seeds
2 tsp salt
1 tsp haldi or turmeric powder
2 dried red chillies
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp peanuts
7-8 curry leaves or kadi patta
1 tbsp oil
Instructions
In a pan take oil and add rai to it.
Once it begins to crackle add the curry leaves, dried red chillies and peanuts, cook till the peanuts look roasted.
Add onions and saute till they turn translucent.
Now add in idlis.
Add all the spices and salt. Mix it well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve with mint or coconut chutney.
