Grilled Potato Sandwich | Grilled Masala Sandwich

Makes 6 sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 5 boiled potatoes, mashed

  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped

  • Few coriander leaves, chopped

  • 1 capsicum, finely chopped

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp haldi or turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp jeera or cumin powder

  • 1 tsp rai or black mustard seeds

  • 12 bread slices

  • 4 tbsp green chutney

  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tsp black til seeds

  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a pan, add oil and rai. Allow them to crackle.

  2. Add green chillies and onions and saute well.

  3. Then add capsicum and add all the spices and salt.

  4. Saute it for 30 seconds. Then add the boiled and mashed potatoes. Mix well.

  5. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

  6. Take 1 bread slice, apply some chutney to it. Then add the prepared potato stuffing. To the other slice, apply some tomato ketchup and close the sandwich.

  7. Apply some oil to the toast maker or griller and put the sandwich in.

  8. Drizzle some oil on top and sprinkle some black til seeds.

  9. Grill for 2 minutes and your grilled potato sandwiches are ready!
