Hara Bhara Kebab | Cheesy Hara Bhara Kebab | Veg. Kebab

Delicious Hara Bhara Kebab with a cheesy centre filling!


Makes 10-12 kebabs

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp amchoor or dry mango powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 cup peas, boiled

  • 2 cups spinach leaves, chopped and blanched

  • 6 boiled potatoes, mashed

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp oil

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp besan or gram flour

  • 2 cubes cheese

  • 5 cashew nuts

  • 1 tsp chaat masala, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, stir fry the blanched spinach leaves with boiled peas for 5 minutes.

  2. Then transfer it to a blender and blend when it cools down.

  3. In a bowl, take mashed potatoes and add the spinach-peas puree to it.

  4. Now add in the spices, salt, bread crumbs and besan to it to form a dough.

  5. Heat oil in a pan to shallow fry the kebabs.

  6. Take some dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Put in a small block of cheese and cover it from all sides. Shape it like a tikki or kebab and press in a hand slit cashew nut on top. Shallow fry on both sides.

  7. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top and serve hot.
