Delicious Hara Bhara Kebab with a cheesy centre filling!
Makes 10-12 kebabs
Ingredients
1 tsp amchoor or dry mango powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 cup peas, boiled
2 cups spinach leaves, chopped and blanched
6 boiled potatoes, mashed
1.5 tsp salt
4 tbsp oil
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp besan or gram flour
2 cubes cheese
5 cashew nuts
1 tsp chaat masala, for garnish
Instructions
In a pan, stir fry the blanched spinach leaves with boiled peas for 5 minutes.
Then transfer it to a blender and blend when it cools down.
In a bowl, take mashed potatoes and add the spinach-peas puree to it.
Now add in the spices, salt, bread crumbs and besan to it to form a dough.
Heat oil in a pan to shallow fry the kebabs.
Take some dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Put in a small block of cheese and cover it from all sides. Shape it like a tikki or kebab and press in a hand slit cashew nut on top. Shallow fry on both sides.
Sprinkle some chaat masala on top and serve hot.
