Homemade Paneer | Homemade Cottage Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1.5 litre full fat milk

  • 2.5 tbsp vinegar

Instructions

  1. Take milk in a pan and bring it to boil.

  2. Lower the flame and add vinegar to it while stirring.

  3. Once the milk begins to curdle, switch off the flame.

  4. Sieve the paneer and wash it thoroughly under running water.

  5. Transfer it to a cloth and wrap it up in a rectangular form.

  6. Place it on a plate or slab and put a heavy weight like a rolling board. Let it sit like this for 15-20 minutes.

  7. Then remove the weight and unwrap the paneer and cut it into cubes of the desired size and shape.

  8. Store it in an air-tight container for a week in the refrigerator.
