After many failed attempts, I can now proudly say that I have perfected the recipe of making a homemade pizza with your own homemade pizza dough!
This turned out to be so good and delicious, that everyone just loved it.
Makes 3 Pizzas
Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour or maida
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp oregano
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 capsicum, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp black olives
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup pizza sauce
Instructions
In a bowl, take 1/2 cup lukewarm water (not hot).
Dissolve sugar in it and add dry yeast.
Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, bubbles will start forming, which means your yeast has activated.
Preheat the oven or OTG at 200˚C for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, take 3 cups maida, add 1 tbsp oil and add salt to it.
Pour the yeast and water mixture to this and knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and soft.
Cover and keep it aside for 1-2 hours.
After 2 hours, the dough will double in its size.
Punch the dough and knead it again for 5 minutes.
Divide it into 3 parts and roll each part into a ball.
Using your fingers, stretch each dough ball in all directions to form a round pizza base.
Apply some pizza sauce on top and garnish it with all the vegetables.
Drizzle some grated mozzarella cheese, oregano and chilli flakes.
Grease the baking tray with some oil and sprinkle some dry flour.
Bake the pizza at 230˚C for 20-25 minutes.
Your delicious Cheese Burst Pizza is ready to be served.
