Makes 1 bowl
Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1 onion, chopped
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp black pepper powder, optional
1 tsp salt
5-6 tomatoes, blanched
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp sugar
Instructions
In a pan, add some oil and saute the garlic cloves and onions.
Then add the blanched tomatoes. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Remove the lid and add salt, sugar, tomato ketchup and chilli flakes. Mix well.
Allow it to cool down and then blend it to a smooth paste.
You can store your homemade pizza sauce in the refrigerator for a week.
