Gluten-Free Jowar Pizza Tarts are super easy to make and absolutely crispy and crunchy to have! Enjoy making these with your favourite toppings!
Makes 9 Pizza Tarts
Ingredients
3 cups jowar atta or sorghum flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp oregano
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 capsicum, sliced
4-5 mushrooms, sliced
4-5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tbsp black olives
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup cheese sauce
1 tbsp oil for sautéing
Instructions
In a bowl, take 1/2 cup lukewarm water (not hot).
Dissolve sugar in it and add dry yeast.
Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, bubbles will start forming, which means your yeast has activated.
Preheat the oven or OTG at 200˚C for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, take 3 cups flour, add 1 tbsp oil and add salt to it.
Pour the yeast and water mixture to this and knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and soft.
Cover and keep it aside for 1-2 hours.
After 2 hours, knead it again for 5 minutes.
Divide it into 9 parts and roll each part into a round tart.
Take 1 tbsp oil and sauce garlic and mushrooms with little salt and black pepper.
Apply some pizza sauce and homemade cheese sauce on the tart and garnish it with all the vegetables.
Drizzle some grated mozzarella cheese, oregano and chilli flakes.
Bake the pizza tarts at 230˚C for 20-25 minutes.
Healthy Jowar Pizza Tarts are ready.
