Keri Chutney | Raw Mango Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coriander leaves

  • 1/2 cup pudina or mint leaves

  • 4-5 garlic cloves

  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped

  • 1 tbsp roasted peanuts

  • 1 lemon juice, optional

  • 1 keri or raw mango, chopped

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp haldi or turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tbsp sugar

  • few drops of water

  • 1 tsp oil

  • 1 tsp rai or black mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. In a grinder, add coriander leaves, pudina, garlic cloves, green chillies, roasted peanuts, salt, sugar, haldi and raw mango with some water and grind well.

  2. Transfer the chutney to a bowl.

  3. In a small pan, add oil and add rai and allow them to crackle. Switch off the gas then.

  4. Add the tadka to the chutney.

  5. The refreshing sweet and sour keri chutney is ready!
