Ingredients
1 bowl bhindi or okra, washed, dried and slit half
1 tbsp besan or gram flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1/3 tsp red chilli powder
1/3 tsp amchoor powder
1 tsp roasted peanut powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 lemon juice
Instructions
Firstly wash the okra/bhindi thoroughly with water and let them air dry for a few minutes. Then chop off the cap and slit each into half.
In a bowl, add besan, all the masala except chaat masala and give it a mix.
Then add the bhindi to it and mix it well so that they are coated well.
Heat oil in a kadhai or deep pan. Once the oil is hot, add the bhindi in small batches and fry them on high flame until they become crispy.
Then take them out on a tissue paper and transfer to your serving plate or bowl.
Sprinkle the chaat masala over it and drizzle some lemon juice. Your Kurkure bhindi is ready to be served.
