Leftover Rice & Potato Balls

Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl boiled rice

  • 1 bowl boiled potato, onion, green chillies mix

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp jeera or cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp pasta sauce/tomato sauce

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp chaat masala

  • oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix rice and potato mixtures and make a soft dough by mashing using hands.

  2. Now to this add salt, garam masala, black pepper powder, chaat masala and pasta sauce and form a dough.

  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai. Make small balls or cutlets and fry them on each side till golden brown.

  4. Sprinkle some chaat masala and serve with tomato ketchup. Kids will love them!
