Try out this quick and easy recipe and enjoy the cornflakes mix with some hot tea or coffee.
Ingredients
1 cup poha chivda
3/4 cup makhane or fox nuts
1/2 cup cornflakes
1/2 cup peanuts
1 tsp haldi or turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a Kadhai or pan.
Roast the chivda on a medium flame, stirring continuously.
Once they turn slightly brown, remove from pan.
Add makhane to the same pan and roast them on a low flame for 7-8 minutes.
Remove from the pan and add 1 tbsp oil in the pan.
Roast the peanuts and cornflakes till peanuts turn reddish brown.
In a bowl, add roasted chivda, roasted makhane, roasted peanuts, cornflakes, haldi, salt, red chilli powder and chaat masala.
Mix them well and keep aside to cool down.
Once it has cooled down completely, transfer the Low Oil Cornflakes Mix to an air-tight container.
