Mini Besan Pancakes | Post-Workout Meal



Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp besan or gram flour

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 potato, finely chopped

  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped

  • 1 capsicum, finely chopped

  • 1 carrot, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder

  • 1/3 tsp garam masala

  • 1/3 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

Instructions

  1. Mix besan and water and form a batter of medium consistency.

  2. Then add all the chopped vegetable and add more water if needed.

  3. Add spices and salt and whisk well.

  4. Heat a tawa or a pan on high flame.

  5. Once it is hot, lower the flame and pour 1 tbsp of the batter and spread it evenly on the tawa.

  6. Now add 1 tsp olive oil on the sides and let it cook on medium flame.

  7. Flip the side slowly and cook on the other side now. Add 1 tsp of oil more. Gently press and allow it to cook for at least 2-3 minutes on low-medium flame.

  8. Now reverse the side and when both sides look cooked, take it out

  9. You may cook 3-4 mini pancakes in one go.

  10. Enjoy your protein rich meal now!
