Murmure Namkeen | Homemade Bhelpuri Mix

Healthy & scrumptious, this homemade murmure namkeen is so tasty and the best substitute for bhelpuri mix.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup murmure

  • 3/4 cup roasted chana

  • 1/2 cup peanuts

  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts (raisins, cashew nuts, almonds)

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a Kadhai or pan.

  2. Fry the murmure on a medium flame, stirring continuously.

  3. Once they turn slightly brown, remove from pan.

  4. Add peanuts to the same pan and fry them with the nuts.

  5. Once the peanuts turn reddish brown, remove from the pan.

  6. In a bowl, add murmure, roasted chana, roasted peanuts, nuts, salt, red chilli powder and chaat masala.

  7. Mix them well and keep aside to cool down.

  8. Once it has cooled down completely, transfer the Murmure Namkeen to an air-tight container.
