Oats Flaxseeds Jaggery Laddoos | Healthy Energy Balls | Gluten-Free & Sugar-Free

Super yummy and healthy, these Oats Flaxseeds Jaggery Laddoos are an instant hit among kids and adults alike.


Makes 12-15 Laddoos

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats

  • 2/3 cup peanuts

  • 1/2 cup jaggery, powdered or grated

  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds

  • 1/8 cup til or sesame seeds

  • 6-7 tbsp ghee or clarified butter

  • 1/2 tsp elaichi or cardamom powder

  • 8-10 cashew nuts, slit into halves

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and dry roast oats till slightly golden brown in colour. Transfer them to a bowl.

  2. Dry roast peanuts then till they begin to crackle or lightly brown. Transfer to the same bowl.

  3. Now dry roast the flaxseeds, they quickly begin to crackle. Transfer them to the same bowl.

  4. Then dry roast sesame seeds or til and transfer to a separate bowl.

  5. Now grind the oats, peanuts and flaxseeds mixture into a fine powder.

  6. Add roasted til seeds to it.

  7. Add grated jaggery and elaichi powder to it and mix well.

  8. Now begin adding ghee and mix it with your fingers.

  9. Grease the palm of your hands and roll small portions of the mixture to form laddoos.

  10. Garnish them with cashew nuts.

  11. Enjoy the super nutritive Oats & Flaxseeds Laddoos!
