Rose Coconut Laddoo | Red Coconut Laddu

The delicious melt-in-the-mouth coconut laddoos just got a rosey twist with roohafza! Try on these super-soft rose coconut laddoos today!


Makes 18-20 Laddoo

Ingredients

  • 3 cups coconut, shredded

  • 200 gms condensed milk

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • 1/2 tsp elaichi or cardamom powder

  • 1/4 cup rose syrup or roohafza

  • 4-5 drops of red food colour, optional

  • Few pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and add shredded coconut in it.

  2. Add condensed milk and stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Now add ghee and elaichi powder and cook on a low-medium flame till the water dries up and the laddoo dough leaves the sides of the pan.

  4. Turn off the gas and remove the dough to a bowl.

  5. Now add rose syrup or roohafza to it and few drops of red food colour.

  6. Now using your hands roll it into round balls or laddoos.

  7. Garnish the rose coconut laddoo with some chopped pistachios.

  8. The super-soft, moist and fresh rose coconut laddoos are ready!
