The most light and easy-to-make breakfast and vrat recipe using sabudana, is the sabudana khichdi.
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
3 cups sabudana, soaked overnight
2 potatoes, boiled and chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsp peanuts
1 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1.5 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp jeera or cumin powder
1 lemon juice
Instructions
Wash and soak the sabudana for 6-8 hours. Strain the water from the sabudana.
Heat oil in a kadhai or pan.
Add cumin seeds and green chillies.
Then add peanuts and cook till they become slightly red.
Add potatoes, salt, red chilli powder and cumin powder.
Finally add in the sabudana and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.
