Super easy recipe to make sev at home using a sev maker.
Makes 2 Jars
Ingredients
For Sev:
1 cup besan or gram flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
Pinch of hing
1 tsp salt
Oil, for frying
Water, for kneading
Instructions
In a bowl, sieve besan, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and salt.
Using water, knead it into a soft and smooth dough.
Grease a chakli maker and place a slide with fine holes.
Roll the dough and insert it into the maker.
Heat oil and press the sev into hot oil in a circular manner.
Fry until golden and crisp from both sides.
Enjoy crispy Sev with tea on a cold winter evening.
