Homemade delicious Soya Chaap Gravy that tastes exactly like Restaurant style Soya Chaap. It is so delicious and absolutely lip-smacking!
Serves 5
Ingredients
10-12 Soya Chaap sticks, thawed and deep fried
4-5 laung or cloves
2-3 green cardamom or elaichi
1 star anise
10-12 cashew nuts
6 tomatoes, boiled and pureed
3 green chillies, chopped
3 onions, chopped
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp dalchinni powder
1 tbsp curd
1 tbsp paneer, grated
Pinch of red food colour
1 inch ginger, grated
2 tsp degi mirch powder
2 tsp salt or taste
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp rock salt
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp kasuri methi
Instructions
Heat a pan with oil and add laung, elaichi, star anise, cashew nuts and saute for a minute.
Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste and onions and saute this onions become golden brown.
Now transfer the mixture to a grinder and grind it to a fine paste.
Transfer the paste back to the pan. Add pureed tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes.
Add dalchinni powder, salt, deli march powder and red food colour.
Add curd and grated paneer to it.
Add grated ginger and saute for a minute.
Now add milk and water to the gravy.
Add rock salt, chaat masala and kasuri methi.
Serve Soya Chaap Masala with fresh tawa paranthas.
