High in protein and very nutritive, Soya chunks kebabs are an absolute delight to have, especially, when you're on a diet.
Makes 10 kebabs
Ingredients
1 cup soya chunks, soaked & grinded
1 onion, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
2 boiled potatoes, mashed
3 tbsp oats flour
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
Oil, for cooking
Instructions
Soak the soya chunks in water for 30-40 minutes.
Then squeeze out the excess water and grind them coarsely.
To the grinded mix, add mashed potatoes, gree chillies, chopped onion, salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, oats flour, rice flour and vinegar.
Mix them all together and form a smooth dough.
Now start shaping the kebabs and freeze them for 15-20 minutes.
After 15 minutes, lightly oil a pan and fry them from all sides. Use more oil if needed and cook them until lightly brown in colour, from all sides.
Soya chunks kebabs are best relished with some chaat masala and lemon drizzled on top!
