For all the rice lovers, this super nutritive recipe is a treat! Make yourself the delicious Spinach & Peas Pulao.
Serves 4
Ingredients
2/3 cup spinach leaves, chopped & pureed
1/4 cup boiled peas
1 cup cooked rice
1 tbsp oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2-3 green chillies, chopped
2 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
2-3 laung or cloves
2-3 black peppercorns or sabot kali mirch
10-12 grilled paneer cubes
Instructions
In a kadhai or pan, add oil, cumin seeds, cloves and black peppercorns.
When they begin to crackle, add sliced onions and green chillies.
Cook the onions until they become translucent.
Add in the spinach puree, all the spices and peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
Finally, add the boiled rice, mix well and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Serve the super-healthy Spinach & Peas Pulao topped with some grilled paneer cubes.
