These pancakes are super healthy and a powerhouse of nutrients that you can relish with every bite!
Makes 5 Pancakes
Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1 cup green gram or moong dal sprouts
1/4 cup water
2 green chillies
1 inch ginger
2 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
For Filling or Stuffing:
1/2 tomato, finely chopped
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 tbsp sweet corn, boiled
1 tbsp pizza or pasta sauce
1 cheese slice, optional
Instructions
In a grinder, add sprouts, ginger and green chillies and grind them to a fine paste using water.
Now to this paste, add salt and red chilli powder and keep it aside.
For the filling, to a bowl add onion, tomatoes, green chillies, corn and pizza sauce and mix it well.
Heat a non-stick tawa or pan. Add oil to it.
Now pour 1 tbsp batter and spread it evenly.
Over the batter add 1 tsp of the stuffing and cover with 1 tsp of the batter.
Alternatively, you can also add 1/8 part of a cheese slice over the stuffing.
Add some oil on top and flip to the other side.
Cook evenly from both the sides on a low flame.
