Sprouts Stuffed Pancakes | Healthy Pancakes | Sprouts Cheela

Thinking of a healthy and wholesome breakfast? Make yourself the most scrumptious and delicious Sprouts Stuffed Pancakes.


These pancakes are super healthy and a powerhouse of nutrients that you can relish with every bite!


Makes 5 Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 cup green gram or moong dal sprouts

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 2 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

For Filling or Stuffing:

  • 1/2 tomato, finely chopped

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp sweet corn, boiled

  • 1 tbsp pizza or pasta sauce

  • 1 cheese slice, optional

Instructions

  1. In a grinder, add sprouts, ginger and green chillies and grind them to a fine paste using water.

  2. Now to this paste, add salt and red chilli powder and keep it aside.

  3. For the filling, to a bowl add onion, tomatoes, green chillies, corn and pizza sauce and mix it well.

  4. Heat a non-stick tawa or pan. Add oil to it.

  5. Now pour 1 tbsp batter and spread it evenly.

  6. Over the batter add 1 tsp of the stuffing and cover with 1 tsp of the batter.

  7. Alternatively, you can also add 1/8 part of a cheese slice over the stuffing.

  8. Add some oil on top and flip to the other side.

  9. Cook evenly from both the sides on a low flame.

  10. Enjoy the super healthy Sprouts Stuffed Pancakes for breakfast, dinner or snacks!
