Stuffed Dinner Rolls | Stuffed With Potato, Paneer & Peas Filling | Eggless

Delicious and wholesome, homemade Stuffed Dinner Rolls are so fulfilling to make and eat.


Makes 5 Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Classic White Bread Premix, by Tropilite

  • 1 yeast sachet (inside the premix)

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 120 ml water

  • 15 ml oil

For Stuffing:

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp jeera or cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 4 green chillies, chopped

  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 cup boiled peas

  • 4-5 potatoes, boiled and mashed

  • 2 tsp haldi or turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp jeera or cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

  • 100gms paneer, crumbled

  • 1 tbsp pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, empty one packet of the Classic White Bread Premix.

  2. Remove the yeast sachet from it.

  3. Take one bowl with 1/4 cup water and 1/2 tsp sugar dissolved in it.

  4. Add yeast to this and keep it aside for 5 minutes

  5. To the dry premix, add oil and the activated yeast.

  6. Now gradually add water and knead it into a soft yet stiff dough.

  7. Cover it and keep it aside for an hour in a dark place.

  8. After 1 hour, the dough would have doubled. Apply some oil over it and punch the dough.

  9. Knead it again for 5 minutes and divide it into 5 parts.

  10. Now roll each part into a thin rectangular sheet.

  11. For the potato stuffing, heat a pan, add oil and mustard seeds in it.

  12. Add chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute.

  13. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1.5 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp garam masala to it.

  14. Add in the mashed potatoes and mix well. Take off from the gas.

  15. For the paneer stuffing, take 100gms crumbled paneer and add 1 tbsp pizza sauce to it. Mix well.

  16. For the peas stuffing, heat a pan, add oil and cumin seeds.

  17. Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.

  18. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1.5 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala and some chaat masala.

  19. Add the boiled peas and mash them well.

  20. Now take the rolled thin sheet or dough and place one topping over each other on one side.

  21. Roll it over to cover the stuffing.

  22. Now with the remaining portion, put slight cuts using a knife and use this side to cover the other portion.

  23. Seal all the edges nicely and brush them with oil. Place them on a greased baking sheet.

  24. Preheat the oven at 200˚C for 15 minutes and bake the dinner rolls for 40-45 minutes.

  25. Brush some milk on the top as soon as they are out of the oven.

  26. Delicious Stuffed Dinner Rolls are ready!
