Ingredients
1 brinjal, cut into discs
3 tbsp suji or rava
3 tbsp besan or gram flour
3 tsp salt
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
oil, for frying
1 tsp chaat masala, for garnish
Instructions
Firstly, wash and cut the brinjal into discs of 0.5 inch thickness. You may even cut these discs into half.
Then in a bowl take 3 tbsp besan and to it add 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder and garam masala.
Add water to it little by little to form a paste.
Now dip the brinjal and coat it evenly on all sides in this batter.
Now in plate take suji/rava and mix some salt and red chilli powder in it and coat the besan coated brinjal disc in this mix.
Coat it evenly with the suji mix and repeat the same step for all the discs.
In a pan take some oil for shallow frying. Once it is hot, place the brinjal discs in the pan and cook them on each side till they turn golden brown.
Take them out on a serving plate and sprinkle some chart masala before serving.
