Ingredients
12-15 tinde or apple guard, washed, peeled and chopped
1 onion, sliced
3 tomatoes, pureed
1 tsp cumin or jeera seeds
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric or haldi powder
1 tsp coriander powder or dhania
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp kitchen king masala
Instructions
Wash, peel and chop the tindas.
In a pressure cooker, add oil and cumin seeds.
When the begin to crackle, add ginger-garlic paste and then onions.
Saute them for a minute and then add the pureed tomatoes.
Then add all the spices and some water to it.
Close the lid and allow it to cook for 5-6 whistles.
Your tinde ki subzi is ready!
