Tinde Ki Sabzi | Apple Guard Vegetable



Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 12-15 tinde or apple guard, washed, peeled and chopped

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 3 tomatoes, pureed

  • 1 tsp cumin or jeera seeds

  • 1 tbsp mustard oil

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp turmeric or haldi powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder or dhania

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder

  • 1 tsp kitchen king masala

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and chop the tindas.

  • In a pressure cooker, add oil and cumin seeds.

  • When the begin to crackle, add ginger-garlic paste and then onions.

  • Saute them for a minute and then add the pureed tomatoes.

  • Then add all the spices and some water to it.

  • Close the lid and allow it to cook for 5-6 whistles.

  • Your tinde ki subzi is ready!
