These mini hot dog buns are eggless and refined flour free, made with whole wheat flour only.
Serves 4
Ingredients
3/4 cup water, lukewarm
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp instant dry yeast
1.5 cups wheat flour
3/4 tsp salt
Some pumpkin, flax and sunflower seeds
2 tbsp milk, for brushing
Instructions
In a bowl, add yeast and sugar and pour the lukewarm water. Mix well and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt and oil and mix well.
Pour int he yeast water to this and knead it into a smooth but stiff dough.
Cover and let it sit for 1-2 hours.
After 1-2 hours, punch the dough and knead it again for 5 minutes.
Divide it into 6 parts.
Brush it with milk and apply the seeds on top.
Preheat oven or OTG at 195˚C and bake at 195˚C for 20 minutes.
Whole Wheat Hot Dog Buns are ready!
